The Humane Society of Sedona Voted 2024 Best Nonprofit Organization

THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF SEDONA WINS BEST NONPROFIT 2025

Thank you from all of us at the Humane Society of Sedona! We are grateful and deeply honored we’ve been voted the Best Nonprofit Organization in Red Rock News’ Sedona’s Best 2025—for the seventh consecutive year. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and standing beside us in our journey to protect and uplift the lives of animals in need.

For nearly 60 years, since our founding in 1966, we’ve been a safe haven for Sedona’s most vulnerable pets. Our team of dedicated employees and volunteers show up every day with open hearts and helping hands. They walk dogs, comfort cats, clean kennels, and foster the sick, the injured, and the very young. Their love is the first step toward a second chance for every animal we serve. This recognition is not just a celebration of our work—it’s a tribute to the compassion of our community, the dedication of our volunteers, and the resilience of every animal who’s found hope within our Shelter walls.

In the past year alone, your support helped us make life-saving and life-changing differences for nearly 800 cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies through our Shelter and Clinic services. Additionally, our community support program kept families and their pets together by providing food, supplies and urgent veterinary care to those who just could not afford it. This work is only possible because of you—our community. You are the lifeline that keeps tails wagging, hearts healing, and fur-families whole. But the need never stops—and neither can we.

Every day, animals arrive at our doors frightened, hungry, or hurting. Every day, we offer them safety, healing, and hope. Every day, we rely on our community’s generosity to make it all possible. Please, help us continue our mission of saving lives – your donation isn’t just a gift—it’s a lifeline to feed, shelter, and heal Sedona’s most vulnerable pets.

Donate, Adopt, Volunteer, Shop today and be part of a legacy of love that began in 1966 and continues with every life we save.

And, please join us at our upcoming Howl-O-Ween Costume Parade on Sunday, October 19, at Tlaquepaque—a celebration of community, compassion, and the joy pets bring to our lives. For event details and more ways to get involved, visit HumaneSocietyofSedona.org.

From all of us at the Humane Society of Sedona—thank you for your love, your support, and your belief in our mission. Together, we’re not just saving lives. We’re changing them!
