Loki is a gorgeous, 1.5-year-old German Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix who is need of a new home. Loki is a very loyal and loving dog. He loves to be around his people and will follow them around like a shadow! He loves to play fetch and would be content to play until your arm wears out! He loves water and spending his days running around the yard, jumping in and out of the pool. Loki has experience with kids and does well with them, but he does not like cats. He is very smart and learns tricks quickly. He is potty trained but is still working on his leash skills. He would do well in a home where he gets a lot of love and attention as he does experience a bit of separation anxiety.

BIG LADY ALERT!
We have two big, beautiful, bonded senior sisters who are looking for a home! Jesse and Panacea were surrendered to us when their guardian passed away 😣
They were both adopted by separated families, but were both returned to us. Since they’ve been back at the shelter, they’ve really been leaning on each other for support and comfort and we are now adopting them out as a bonded pair 🐱🐱
Both girls are very very sweet. Panacea is the tortie and she’s about 9 years old. She is the braver for the two girls and LOVES lap time. She will sit with you for hours if you let her!
Jesse is the tuxedo girly and she’s about 8 years old. She is much shyer than Panacea, but is still oh so sweet! She loves to be petted and spoken softly to. She makes the best biscuits and once she is comfortable with you, she will snuggle against you for loves.
Can you help us find these angel girls a home?! They would love a quiet place to settle into. Their lives have really been turned upside down over the past few months, and they are ready to start a new chapter together ❤️❤️

Our Pet of the Week this week is BLAZE 🔥
Blaze is a big senior dog who is looking for a family to settle in with! Blaze was surrendered to us about six weeks ago when his family could no longer keep him 😔He is an older dog but is still young at heart! He's about 8 years old and 100 pounds of LOVE! While he is a big dog, he walks really well on a leash - no pulling or jumping. He is gentle and loving, and really just wants a place to spend his golden years.
He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but once he knows you, he will flash you that big smile of his and if you're lucky, he'll even give you a hound dog HOWL! Blaze enjoys going for short and slower walks and would really love a home with a yard. It's unclear how he'll do with other dogs (although he is always very excited to see them from afar!). If you have a dog at home, we always recommend a meet and greet. Blaze did come from a home with older children.
He is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Blaze, give the Humane Society of Sedona a call! 928-282-4679

Blaze is a great dog! He doesn't pull but he definitely leans toward something he's curious about. He still needs a strong handler so you don't get pulled over. This is my experience as a dog walker at HSS.
