Estate Giving

· Let your financial advisor know that you would like to include us as a beneficiary in your trust or will. Charitable gifts to us will be excluded from your taxable estate.

Endowment Giving

· Your endowment gift leaves a legacy of love into perpetuity for the homeless animals and helps to fuel our mission long-term. Donations to endowment funds are tax deductible.

Individual Retirement Account Giving

· Contact your plan administrator to arrange giving to HSS through your IRA. At 70.5 years of age, you can give pre-tax gifts up to $105,000, and at age 73, these gifts can go towards satisfying your Required Minimum Distribution from your IRA account.

Life Insurance, Investment, and Retirement Account Giving

· Name HSS as a beneficiary to receive part or all of your retirement, life insurance, and investment accounts.

Appreciated Asset and Stock Giving

· By donating stock that has appreciated for more than a year you have the potential for a double tax benefit— avoiding capital gains taxes and a full fair market value tax deduction.

Donor Advised Fund Giving

· Your contributions to the fund are tax deductible and the account is managed by a sponsoring organization. You can set-up the Humane Society of Sedona as your charity to receive funds from the account as a one-time grant or recurring grants.

Naming Opportunities

· We have naming opportunities throughout the facility where you or a loved one can be honored or remembered. This is a wonderful way to express your and your family’s legacy.
