We use donations given on this special day each year to fund our very important Emergency Medical Fund (EMF). A lot of animals who come through our doors need a little extra care when they arrive😢 Dogs like Tucker who needed extensive dental work and multiple extractions.

Oh my goodness do we love Jonah!! He is a great dog who loves to play! Jonah's eyes are hypnotizing and his smile is infectious!
This sweet and energetic pup is a bundle of joy, always ready for a new adventure or to snuggle up after a fun-filled day. Jonah is not just playful, but also a quick learner with an eagerness to impress his people with new tricks. He would do so well with some intentional training, and we so hope his new family gives him that opportunity!
This handsome boy would make the ideal forever friend for an active individual or family. We think in time (and once he masters his leash skills) he could be an amazing hiking buddy and adventure dog! He gets along well with other dogs here at the shelter, and it's so fun to watch him play with his buds!

Bozer is a gorgeous 3-year-old dog in need of a new home. He is a silly dog with a fun personality. Bozer loves to snuggle, and cuddle, and he is also quite chatty. He will "argue" with you and talk back when you talk to him. He will whine at you when he wants to be loved. Bozer loves food and exercise. He has to be active and outside playing. He loves to run with you, play fetch and wrestle. He likes to play fight and jump around. He loves toys, running, climbing, exploring, and sleeping on the couch.
Bozer is mostly potty trained, but will go in the house if he's left inside too long. He does not like to be cooped up inside. He prefers access to the outdoors if possible. He is currently in a home with children and does pretty well with them, but older kids may be better. Bozer has a high prey drive and does not do well with chickens or other small animals. He seems to do okay with dogs around his size.
An ideal home would be someone looking for a hiking buddy. Someone with an outdoor lifestyle who wants a funny, loving Catahoula to join them.

Today is the start of PetSmart's National Adoption Week!
For this special week, we are celebrating our biggest babies here by waiving adoption fees on all dogs over 30lbs! BIG DOGS=BIG LOVE!!
One of our biggest babies who is in need of a home is RUSH!! He has been with us for over a year! He is such a smart, handsome, and happy guy. He is truly a wonderful dog who would do so well with an active person or a home with a big yard or a lot of land. He loves to play fetch, loves to splash in the pool, and lives life to the fulleset every day (well as full as he can in a shelter 😔)
