Mitzvah Day – A Day of Caring & Service

Sunday, October 29th, 12:30pm-4:30pm

The Jewish Community Center of Sedona and the Verde Valley invites you to participate in this community-based, interfaith, inter-generational day of service to local organizations – including us here at the Humane Society of Sedona!

There are 13 different projects you can choose from and sign up for, all benefitting amazing organizations around Sedona and the Verde Valley.

Volunteers will sign in at the JCSVV on Sunday, October 29th from 12:30 to 1:00 pm, and get name tags with the Mitzvah Day logo. An alternative meeting site is the Habitat for Humanity headquarters (737 S. Main Street in Cottonwood) Then volunteers will proceed to their work sites and perform their good deeds. Ends at 4:00pm. There will be a final program at the synagogue (attendance optional)
